SoftSwitch

• Combination Switch and Support
• Comfortable and Self-Aligning
• Chat Faster - Surf Longer
• Simply “Plug it in”

The SoftSwitch™ is a revolutionary new device that makes yesterday’s separate head supports and hard switches obsolete. No longer do users have to suffer that helpless feeling of suddenly becoming unable to communicate just because they changed their posture. Now they can “talk” much faster with software like E Z Keys, and find new ease and enjoyment surfing the web.

The sensing portion of the SoftSwitch is a comfortable foam-filled cushion, fabricated using Thermarest™ camping-equipment technology. It’s self-inflating, well-made, and washable. At just 5” x 7”, it easily attaches to a head rest or other part of a chair, and even can be used under a bed pillow. A 30” pneumatic tube connects to its sensor box, which can be tucked away in a chair pocket, and then plugged into one’s computer using the cable provided.

Since the cushion is designed to support static weight, one just leans back against it comfortably, as with any other head rest. Sending a signal involves just giving it a slight extra “bump”. The SoftSwitch is sensitive and fully adjustable.
