Who Can Use E Z Keys™ XP?
EZ Keys XP is designed for users who have at least a third-grade reading level and cannot speak or for users who speak and desire adapted computer access. Users with a wide range of disabilities find EZ Keys XP simple to operate and essential to everyday communication. EZ Keys XP allows the literate user to do everything from typing a letter, to engaging in conversation with a friend, to exploring the worldwide web. World-renowned astrophysicist Stephen Hawking uses the software to communicate, write papers, and deliver lectures around the world.

Built from the ground up
Words+ has created this new version of E Z Keys from the ground up to take full advantage of the new and exciting innovations the new Windows® XP Operating System has to offer. Secure log-on operation, for example, is a valuable feature that enhances privacy and security. The program also includes SAPI 5 capability, allowing the user to choose from a wide variety of synthesized voices available on the market today.

Conversations in an Instant
Store hundreds of thousands of phrases and sentences, and then retrieve them instantly using EZ Keys XP's Instant Phrases. Group phrases according to subject, such as family matters, sports, personal needs, jokes, or hobbies, and then use them quickly in everyday conversations.

Operate E Z Keys XP Your Way
Words+ understands that not everyone can use a mouse. That’s why we designed EZ Keys XP to provide complete mouse emulation using alternative inputs, such as a keyboard or even a slight movement of an eye using switch activation. A variety of access modes, including standard keyboard, expanded keyboard, joystick, single- and multiple-switch scanning, and Morse code are available with EZ Keys XP software. You can even switch from one access mode to another without exiting the program. A “no voice” version of EZ Keys XP is also available for users who do not require speech output, but who do want adapted computer access.

EZ Keys XP software gives you the freedom to pursue a variety of activities in and out of the home. Using a modem or fax/modem, you can send and receive messages or explore the World Wide Web.
