QuickPage consists of sets of preprogrammed symbol pages that you can use with our Talking Screen software. The user simply selects the symbol that represents the activity he or she wishes to discuss. The program then displays another page with more detailed symbols relating to that subject. Using QuickPage, you can quickly build and speak complete sentences by selecting symbols in the appropriate order.

Who Can Use QuickPage?
QuickPage is designed for non-literate or non-speaking individuals or for individuals who prefer using pictures and symbols to communicate. These ready-made communication displays are designed by experts in the field of augmentative communication and feature proven communication strategies that actually enhance literacy. Three versions are currently available: Preschool, Elementary, and Teen/Adult.

QuickPage Preschool
QuickPage Preschool, developed by Goossens’, Crain and Elder features communication pages focusing on the 81 typical activities of preschool-age children. These displays are some of the most widely used vocabulary sets for preschoolers. Activities include puzzles, story time, arts and crafts, and more. The color coding on each software display corresponds to speech syntax, so the user actually builds literacy skills by using the software.

QuickPage Elementary
Designed by Froma Cummings, OTR/L for elementary-school children, QuickPage Elementary is a comprehensive set of more than 80 activity-based communication pages. The software pages feature every day activities, such as school, games, cooking, and personal needs. Accessing displays for use in conversations with teachers, friends, and family is easy and intuitive, so communication is fun. Users are encouraged to create customized activity pages that reflect their own unique personality.

QuickPage Teen/Adult
Communication displays, designed by Goossens’ and Elder, are also available for adolescents and adults who are moderately to severely disabled. QuickPage Teen/Adult features a set of 63 communication pages that focus on a variety of teen- and adult-oriented activities, such as ordering food at a restaurant, folding the laundry, and assisting in an office. Instead of the symbols representing one or two words, as they do in the preschool displays, these adult software pages feature complete phrases and sentences, appropriate for teen and adult conversation.
