If you are updating Talking Screen for Windows on a computer that already has Talking Screen for Windows on it, please follow these steps:

1. Be sure all Windows programs, especially Talking Screen for Windows, are closed, before beginning installation.

2. Place disk 1 in the floppy drive.  Click on Start, select Run, and type in A:\setup.

3. Select Custom Installation.

4. Select Continue.

5. Make sure Main Program Files are checked.  If you have a version prior to 2.1 ALREADY on this computer, also check the Word Processing Files. None of the other items (pictures, sounds, etc.) need to be selected because THEY ARE ALREADY ON YOUR COMPUTER.

6. Select Continue.

7. Follow the prompts to enter the next disk throughout the installation program.

8. You can select to test your video when it gives you the option.

9. Decide if you want Talking Screen for Windows to start automatically when you turn on the computer.  (If you select yes, the next time you boot up the computer, it will load Talking Screen automactially after Windows is loaded.)

10. You may select Done or Run Now, whichever you prefer.

Your installation is complete.
