Who Can Use Freedom 2001 LITE Dedicated Devices?
Freedom 2001 LITE can be used by all level users, including non-speaking individuals. There is no need to deal with Windows® or to know anything about computers – Freedom 2001 LITE operates solely as a dedicated device. All types of users – even those who experience disabling conditions such as ALS, cerebral palsy, spinal cord injury, and closed-head injury – will find Freedom 2001 indispensable for meeting all their everyday communication needs.
Easy to Learn, Easy to Use
Among our quickest and easiest to use AAC devices, Freedom 2001E features E Z Keys software, and Freedom 2001T features Talking Screen. Simply open the box, turn it on, and you’re ready to communicate. As an added bonus, our software comes with free updates for life. Enjoy a conversation with family or friends and communicate with your doctor and other caregivers with high quality DECtalk™ speech output. All 2001 LITE units ship with 128 MB and a durable carrying case at no extra charge.
Access Modes
With Freedom 2001 LITE, you choose the access method that’s most comfortable for you. A built-in touch screen comes standard with the unit and allows users access simply by touching the screen. Optional access methods include mouse, joystick, Morse code, keyboard, and switch.
