What is Freedom 2001?
Freedom 2001 is a Medicare-approved dedicated communication device designed specifically to run Words+ communication software. Freedom 2001E runs E Z Keys, and Freedom 2001T runs Talking Screen. Designed especially for active users, these devices can withstand the everyday knocks and bumps typical in the AAC environment.
Who Can Use Freedom 2001™ Dedicated Devices?
Freedom 2001 can be used by all level users, including non-speaking individuals. There is no need to deal with Windows® or to know anything about a computer – Freedom 2001 operates solely as a dedicated device. All types of users – even those who experience disabling conditions such as ALS, cerebral palsy, spinal cord injury, and closed-head injury – will find Freedom 2001 indispensable for meeting all their everyday communication needs.
