Your computer system comes fully loaded with Windows XP and either Talking Screen™ or E Z Keys™, or both. At Words+ we want you to enjoy the most up-to-date, efficient communication software on the market. That’s why we offer free software upgrades on Talking Screen and E Z Keys. Freedom Extreme Toughbook is a complete computer system, so you can operate a variety of Windows®- compatible software programs, including e-mail and Internet-browsing software. Powered by a long-lasting lithium-ion battery, Freedom Extreme also comes with an AC adapter/charger.
Superior Communication with Micro CommPac
Because crystal-clear communication is important to our users, Freedom Extreme features Micro CommPac, our high-quality speech output device. Choose either ETI-Eloquence® or DECtalk® and ATT Natural Voices voice synthesis software for the most realistic and intelligible voices in the industry.
Access Modes
Freedom Extreme Toughbook features an active matrix color liquid crystal display (LCD) with a convenient, easy-to-use touch screen. The LCD is also anti-reflective, making it easy to view in bright sunlight. Other access methods include standard keyboard, mouse, head-controlled device, joystick, touch screen, switch, or Morse code. You can even operate the computer with the blink of an eye using our IST Switch.

Although all of our Toughbook computer systems are rugged and designed to withstand the rigors of the typical AAC environment, they are not indestructible. They are computers and must be handled with care. Words+ is not responsible for units that are damaged due to abuse or misuse on the part of the user.
