Say-it! SAM Tablet XP1 is a lightweight Windows XP tablet that runs a lot of the software that you are already familiar with Say-it! SAM: E Z Keys™ and Speaking Dynamically Pro™.

Robust and Portable
The XP1 tablet is originally designed to withstand the rigors of industrial use. The case is made of a thin and light magnesium alloy and high-impact plastic. The unit uses all solid-state memory, so there is no hard drive and no moving parts. This leads to a robust unit that comes with a one-year warranty which can be extended to a total of three years.

The XP1 weighs less than four pounds, and comes with a shoulder strap for ambulatory use. The tablet has a built-in battery and an external battery – together, the two provide eight hours of use for a typical user. For longer life, you can purchase additional external batteries to keep charged and hot-swap (without turning off the tablet) as you need them.

The XP1 comes with your choice of software for communicating at home, school and work, including:

Loud, Clear Voice
The XP1 comes with a choice of DECtalk or AT&T Natural Voices, depending on the software package that you choose. Systems with DECtalk include all nine familiar voices. For systems with AT&T Natural Voices, choose the human-sampled voice that suits you best.

Dedicated Devices
The XP1 is available as a dedicated speech generating device (SGD) to comply with Medicare guidelines. Be sure to specify a dedicated device when ordering.

Accessories
Mounts are available for wheelchairs, an integrated easel is standard for use on a desktop. Other available accessories give you more battery life, environmental control, carrying case, etc.
