Input Devices

U-Controll III

The U-Control III is a universal remote control that connects to your PC through the USB or Hi-Speed USB port. Once connected to your computer or AAC device running Words+, Inc. software, you can control your TV, VCR, DVD player, X10 devices, and other appliances.  U-Control III is a trainable remote control. With the remote control from your appliance, or another universal remote control which can control your appliance, you can train the U-Control III to perform virtually all of the functions of that remote. After this training, the U-Control III can replay the trained patterns, thereby controlling your appliance. Because the U-Control III is a trainable remote control, it works with most old appliances, and will work with most new appliances as they are introduced by various manufacturers.

Infrared/Sound/Touch (IST) Switch

Operate a variety of communication devices and software with almost any kind of body motion - even the blink of an eye. Using sensors, the IST (Infrared/Sound/Touch) Switch provides positive, consistent action with virtually all body movements and features a convenient sensitivity adjustment that lets you set the switch for the body site to be used.

HeadMouse

The HeadMouse emulates a standard mouse by translating the movements of a user's head into directly proportional movements of the computer pointer using a tiny, disposable reflector adhered to the forehead or glasses.

Tracker One

Tracker One is a new head pointing device that is operated and powered from the USB port of your computer, giving you freedom of mobility without the need of battery packs or power adapters.

Tracker 2000

The totally hands-free alternative to using a mouse. Tracker 2000 is a hands-free input device that imitates a standard mouse or trackball by translating head movements into cursor movements. It can be mounted to either a desktop or laptop computer. The round ball at the front of Tracker 2000 contains a sensor that registers the light reflected from a reusable reflective dot placed on the user's forehead or glasses. It then translates this reflection into a cursor movement.

Cyberlink

A revolutionary brain-actuated input device. Brain and body signals detected by the sensors in the headband are amplified, digitized, and transmited to the computer - giving you totally hands-free control.

Input Devices

We carry a variety of input devices to meet most needs including the Intellikeys™ alternate keyboard, microswitches, ExpertMouse, joysticks, eyebrow switches, the AbleNet™ family of switches, and the Logitech™ trackball.

Micro CommPac Speech Output

The Micro CommPac, available with DECtalk™ or ETI-Eloquence™ voice output software, gives you quality voice synthesis far superior to your computer's internal speaker, usually only heard in larger, more expensive units. Mounts easily to the back of your laptor computer's display.

USB Switch Adapter

With more computer manufacturers moving away from parallel ports and towards USB ports, we are pleased to offer a USB Softkey/Switch Adapter that allows you to run E Z Keys XP in fully operational mode.
